I hope Wes Streeting , the labour Government and the NHS will be ready for the law suits coming their way. Needless to say we, the tax payers, will be paying out for this grotesque practice but that's nothing to what the wretched kids will be paying with their messed up lives.
I only hope that you’re right Andrew but we’ve had so many ‘this will do it’ moments that I’m not holding my breath. And considering the number of insane cults that have possessed supposedly intelligent people over the decades, nothing surprises me any more. I’m coming to the conclusion that middle class ‘liberals’ shouldn’t be anywhere near any kind of decision making. Let the working classes run things. They’ve got more common sense.
I've seen comments from TRAs referring to detransitioners as not only outliers, but also as never truly having been 'trans'. The logic, of course, is preposterous given that there is no objective test for what being 'trans' is in the first place. That, however, hasn't stopped otherwise intelligent people from suppressing the cognitive dissonance inherent in the ideology. Some few months ago I attended a post Supreme Court decision debate at a prestigious, central London Russell Group university, famous for scientific research, medicine and law - the same institution, incidentally, which will be conducting the infamous Pathways puberty blocker trial - in which gender identity ideology, despite having no legal definition, was seriously defended by legal 'experts' on the panel. I'm afraid that, in the UK, where £££ and medical insurance does not carry so much influence as it does in the US, the lawsuits and class actions will have little impact on the ideologues within government and the NHS. Similarly, in the US, while malpractice may cost $$$, that's only to be expected: chalk it up to a few bad practitioners or as yet another iniquity of capitalist influence in the US health care system. Will it truly undermine the ideology? Will we instead see medical insurers protect themselves against future malpractice suits by simply redesigning their consent forms? Sorry for being cynical, but irrationality does not meet its kryptonite in common sense - that's the essence of irrationality. The malpractice payouts are good news, but this remains a political battle.
I have always believed this day would come, and open the flood gates for more legal cases. Streeting needs to take note, and ditch this puberty blockers trial immediately.

100 % agree with everything you said.
Comparing this madness to the Salem witch trials is absolutely brilliant. An excellent analogy.
Perhaps our government will not try to carry out the experimental MUTILATION of our children now. Fingers crossed.
Thanks for this Andrew. I hope that you have subscribers from the Canadian Medical professions, where the WPATH rules are still firmly embedded.
