I'm pretty certain the thing that kicked this off for Kellie Jay Keen in the first place was her Tweeting in around 2018 (?) about Susie Green, then of Mermaids, saying that Green had taken her son to be castrated in Thailand on his 16th birthday. This is factually correct, but that doesn't seem to matter. I believe it was the word 'castrated' that was deemed objectionable, although it's the correct one for surgical removal of the testes. The boy was also emasculated (perfect word here), which is the removal of the penis. This was illegal in the UK for the under 18s - it still is and after Green became so in Thailand - but Green was not arrested upon her return. Instead, the police threatened the truth-teller.
Another one is the 6 retired police officers imprisoned for making racist jokes in a *private* Whatsapp group - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-67650961 (the judge - who later bragged about the harshness of their sentences - now has a role in judicial appointments, which should terrify us all)
Police overreach is a massive problem, but the rot goes deeper (or perhaps 'higher) If the CPS took their duties seriously all of these cases would be returned to the police with 'there is no prima facie crime here and/or no public interest in prosecuting, what the hell are you thinking?' and the arrests would drop off.
'In October 2024, Lucy Connolly, the wife of a Conservative councillor, was sentenced to 31 months in prison after an offensive tweet about burning hotels housing asylum seekers in the wake of the Southport murders.'.
This was a disgusting case of judicial abuse by a wretched judge who should have known better.
Contrast it with the woman who in an early pro Palestine protest carried a placard saying Kill Jews. As far as I know she was not even arrested. Contrast it also with the not guilty judgment from a leading magistrate of the city of London in respect of the trans woman
(actually a male thug with previous) who at a violent meeting with protesters shouted 'if you see a terf punch them in the effing face'. The magistrate said he did not really mean it!
So you have lunatic judges all over the place and a police force whose officers spend most of their time pursuing speech non-crimes -- much easier, of curse, than catching villains!
People continue to complain & to mention various examples of inappropriate use of the legal system. Yet, despite all the cases of legal misuse, waste of resources, time & heavy handedness the Online Safety Bill Petition only had 55,000 signatures Please sign the Petition to Abolish the « Non Crime Hate Crime Incident Bill » NCHI Petition https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/701051
In January 22,000 signatures now 33,000 have ✍️ you have until June 100,000 signatures means it will have to be debated in parliament & just maybe a rally on that day should could be organised - to let the government know that the British public are serious about it being abolished

A trans woman is never a she, not even with a certificate! He is a man pretending to be a woman. To make it an offence to refer to him as he is diabolical. Next will be an offence not to accept that 2 + 2 = 5.
...In January 2019, Harry Miller was contacted by Humberside Police for retweeting a poem that was interpreted as ‘transphobic’. Miller asked why he was being investigated and why the unnamed complainant was being described as a ‘victim’ if no crime had been committed. The officer replied: ‘We need to check your thinking’.
Straight out of the Orwellian nightmare that has been stalking the world, particularly since the turn of the century. Having dealt with Police officials over my business life I can honestly say they are not up there with people skilled in rational debate. They are scary because they have the power of the State to give them the power they crave and could never have without that badge.
When I was an Economics undergraduate (a long time ago) we were studying inflation and our lecturer drew attention to the need to always distinguish between symptoms and causes. He added that understanding the causes was an essential prerequisite to solving the problem. To solve the problem of the increasing erosion of free speech in "democratic" countries, we need to go back and find how it all began.
Britain is a PLURALIST society NOT an Authoritarian State that demands blind obedience.
The British public need a : Counter Lawfare Revolution
That Helps Find Solutions
Based in Reason & Pluralism
Where Acceptance & Respect Of Differences are Valued
Not Blind Obedience & Submission
That demands : Accountability, That Demands judges, the Police, ALL institutions & government departments need to be profiled to enforce bipartisanship to avoid partisanship & sectarianism from infiltrating our system & needs to be rooted out. Plus, the NHS’s fraud department needs to update the public monthly as to where fraud is being committed.
With The Free Speech Union running alongside our legal system & an ombudsman to ensure that the British public are served by Blind Justice which is to be objective & shows neither fear nor favour but protects the Poor, Women, children & the vulnerable rather than Partisanship, Sectarianism, being PC & Trendy

All very worrying we deserve better

There's a bit of a theme in your examples...I wonder why 'trans' is so prevalent....
