The bearded doughnut in that clip is a comical illustration of the Orwell quote, brain visibly offline, slogans on autopilot. Almost certainly has a postgraduate degree in something ending in 'studies'. He'd be right at home in any totalitarian regime of the last century – at the persecuting end of it, obviously.

"Trans women are women" is the sort of argument that i think has helped bring the word retard into popular usage again. It's the only response to ridiculous statements.

ClemenceDane's avatar

It's not even an argument. It's a self-soothing mantra for the mentally disordered

You’re being very generous there Andrew, when you say that his larynx is working but that it’s not connected to his brain. I’d question the existence of a brain at all.

Trans women will be women until there is funding for it. Even in my home country where civil partnership is not recognised and gay men are regularly attacked on the streets the so called gay rights organisations (chaired by lesbians!) are chanting that trans women are women. Gay men who work for such organisations are also informing us how important trans rights are while planning safe route home after the Pride to avoid being physically attacked.

Just give them money and they will chant whatever you want them to - Trans dogs are dogs, trans mermaids are mermaids - you name it!

Hey, I'm campaigning on behalf of trans dogs and trans mermaids, how dare you!

Olga Peycheva's avatar

Oh, that would bring you a good income for sure! The trans mermaids are very popular.

How much did the fat bloke with the tea towel NOT want to engage with someone with a brain? It was quite funny in a depressing sort of way.

It says a lot about the calibre of these deluded people that Jonathan Willoughby is a major cheerleader.

whilst the perverse rhetoric is far from dead and Jolyon Maugham is still dancing to its tune, I shrink back from supporting the feminist angle that manages to include its core ideological misandry into the debate.

The gynocentric nature of the support for women's sport, rights, "equality" still stinks to high heaven and makes it harder to see how many men's lives are sacrificed on the altar of "protecting the vulnerable victims".

"Believe all women" is more idiotic and harmful than "Trans women are women".

Hundreds of innocent men still in prison/ on probation, and a much larger number with family life and career destroyed, is the bigger threat to us all - and it springs from the gynocentric simping of way too many men in our world.

to push more Orwell,

"It was always the women, and above all the young ones, who were the most bigoted adherents of the Party, the swallowers of slogans, the amateur spies and nosers-out of unorthodoxy."

This orthodoxy is "Yes, all men" and we should be tackling it harder than the miniscule trans issue.
